Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Stamped "B B C," Burlon B. Craig, Vale, NC, circa 1980, ovoid jug with flared spout, two applied handles, and incised sine-wave decoration to shoulder, the front decorated with a hand-modeled and applied clay face including glazed eyes and open mouth with broken china teeth. Underside impressed with "B B C" maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12 1/2".
