Glazed Redware Beer Mug with Inscription, Signed "made by / I.S. Stahl / S.P. / Sep 25 / 1935," Isaac Stahl, Powder Valley, PA, 1935, large-sized mug with footed base, tooled banding and angular handle, the lead-glazed surface including copper at the rim and manganese along the handle. Underside incised "Macht lieb mit mean / Ine Stine For Beer," surrounding Isaac Stahl signature and date. Rim wear. A chip to interior of rim. Minor base chips. H 6 1/4".
