Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated on two sides with a large brushed design of a double-stemmed bellflower plant. Very nice condition with some wear to cobalt and a 1 1/4" base flake. H 13 3/4".
