One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated completely around the shoulder with a stem bearing leaves and stylized, open-centered flowers. Some old traces of paint to surface. Some wear or fry to cobalt, a minor base chip, and traces of old paint to surface. H 10 1/2".
