Slip-Decorated Redware Pitcher, probably Hagerstown, MD, early 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed, short collar, and ribbed handle, the surface coated in streaky cream-colored slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Two rim chips, two chips to interior edge of spout, and expected rim wear. Wear to handle. Minor surface flakes. Heavy base chipping. Traces of old, dark paint to surface. H 8".
