One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Huntingdon County, PA origin, mid 19th century, highly-ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim molding, decorated around the midsection with a series of four conjoined tulips with graduated leaves. Tulip blossom decoration to collar and cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 11 1/2".
