Tanware Flowerpot, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, tapered flowerpot with attached saucer, decorated in Albany slip with a freehand tulip emanating from an undulating vine. Freehand stripe decoration above and below. Wavy stripe decoration to saucer. A small chip to saucer on reverse. Residue from use to interior and bottom edge. A small X-shaped surface line on underside, not visible on interior. Matte surface to Albany slip. H 7 5/8" ; Diam. (at rim) 7".
