Rare George Ohr Pottery Chicken Waterer, Stamped "G.E. OHR, / Biloxi, Miss., late 19th century, ovoid beehive form with button-shaped finial and attached saucer for watering, the shoulder impressed with George Ohr maker's mark. The only chicken waterer from this highly important American ceramicist that we have seen. A 3/4" hole in one side. A 1/2" chip to finial. A vertical crack to saucer, continuing 2" onto underside, where it forms a T. A 2 3/4" line to shoulder/finial. Some exfoliation to saucer and body of waterer. H 10".
