Coggle-Decorated Stoneware Jug with Philadelphia, PA Advertising, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, ovoid jug with tall spout and several rows of coggled banding, featuring the impressed advertising, "JOHNSTON, WARNER & CO. / (LIMITED) / GROCERS. / WINE AND SPIRIT MERCHANTS, / 1017 MARKET ST. PHILADELPHIA." Cobalt highlights to advertising and coggling. Excellent condition with two minor spout nicks and a few salt drips to surface. H 11".
