Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L LEHMAN & CO / WEST 12 ST. N Y," circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed design of a flowering plant including front and profile views of its two blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 6" Y-shaped hairline to underside. A 2" Y-shaped surface line to reverse, not visible on interior. Minor bubbling to cobalt on right blossom. H 10 1/8".
