Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, attributed to Clarkson Crolius, Sr., Manhattan, NY, early 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base and heavily-tooled spout, decorated around the shoulder with a brushed spotted drape motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Jug measures approximately three quarts. Very nice condition with staining and a few base chips. H 11".
