Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwell, Northeastern or possibly Mid-Atlantic U.S., third quarter 19th century, cylindrical form with central ink hole and three quill holes, decorated with two stylized foliate motifs and highlights to the handle terminals. A 7/8" chip to underside at edge. A small base chip. Two minor chips to underside at edge. Crazing and short lines to surface. H 1 1/2" ; Diam. 3 3/8".
