Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to the Parr Family, Baltimore, MD or Richmond, VA origin, circa 1855, ovoid pitcher with tooling to body and rim, decorated with a brushed swag motif around the midsection and flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Rim and spout chips. An in-the-firing contact mark to right of swag decoration on front. H 9 3/8".
