Rare Small-Sized Redware Loaf Dish with Two-Color Slip Decoration, PA origin, 19th century, oval loaf dish with coggled edge, the interior decorated with alternating wavy stripes of manganese and cream-colored slip under a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size and desirable oval form, surviving in exemplary condition. Excellent condition with a few minor edge chips on reverse and expected minor rim wear. Glazed interior is flawless. L 10 3/4".
