Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall collar accented with unusual wavy line incising, decorated in Albany slip with an undulating fuchsia vine around the body, vining and drapes to the collar, and stripes to handle. Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. A 1 1/2" hairline to right of spout, descending from a tiny partially-filled rim rim chip. A 1 1/2" hairline at base on front, continuing across underside and 1" up reverse of pitcher. Bubbling to Albany slip on interior. H 7 1/8"
