Fine Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with stepped shoulder molding and narrow, flaring collar, the body decorated in Albany slip with sweeping fuchsia vine designs. Diagonal dash decoration to shoulder moldings, drape decoration to collar, and freehand stripe to base. Handle with dashed decoration and highlight to upper terminal. Excellent condition with faint traces of old green paint to surface. H 7 1/2".
