Scarce and Fine Large-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall collar embellished with elaborate recessed banding, the body decorated in Albany slip with an elaborate fuchsia vine design. Collar profusely-decorated with freehand stripes. Additional freehand stripe to base. Stripes to handle and highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with minor residue to surface. H 8 3/4".
