Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PAUL : CUSHMANS," Albany, NY, circa 1810, ovoid jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, featuring the coggled maker's mark, "PAUL : CUSHMANs," brushed over in cobalt slip. Additional cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Firing flaws to surface including a large contact mark to front. Some light areas of exfoliation or wear to surface. Small rim chips. Exfoliation to interior. An in-the-firing separation line to interior, not visible on exterior. H 13".
