One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Chester County, PA origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooling to body and rim, decorated on the front with a two-stemmed flowering plant. Collar decorated with floral devices flanking a swag-decorated spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" restored area to surface on pitcher's front, involving some cobalt. A long area of restoration to foot of pitcher. H 10 1/4".
