Three One-Gallon Baltimore, MD Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1875-1885, all of cylindrical form, one with large graduated swag decoration, one with small swag decoration, and one with clover decoration. Shortest with a shallow 2" flake to top of rim, a small rim chip, and a small base chip. Other swag-decorated jar with in-the-firing contact marks near base, some fry to cobalt, and some in-the-firing roughness to rim. Clover-decorated jar with two small chips to interior of rim, a glazed-over chip to interior of rim, and staining. H (of shortest) 9 7/8".
