Copper-Decorated Redware Flowerpot, attributed to S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid form with semi-rounded rim and attached saucer, the surface covered in whitish slip and decorated with lead-and-copper swags around the body. Impressed with S. Bell & Sons maker's mark at shoulder. Damage throughout rim. A 2 3/4" loss to saucer. A 2 5/8" worn section to saucer. Other light wear. H 7 1/4" ; Diam. (across top) 6 1/4".
