Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared collar, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: From a fifty year private collection. Wear to rim and spout. A small in-the-firing contact mark to top of handle. H 6 3/8".
