Scarce Large-Sized Stoneware Flowerpot with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Ft. Edward, NY, circa 1875, tapered pot with tooled shoulder, attached saucer, and semi-squared rim, decorated around the body with three different floral and foliate motifs in the Fort Edward style. An inverted Y-shaped crack descending from shoulder to base. Otherwise excellent condition with a small chip to interior of rim, an in-the-firing iron ping to saucer, and some typical calcium residue to base. H 11 1/4" : Diam. (across top) 12 3/8".
