Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-squared rim, decorated with a hanging floral motif flanked by graduated swags. Additional swag decoration to spout and collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a 1 1/8" in-the-firing contact mark to side of pitcher, a small base chip, and a small in-the-firing lime ping to reverse. H 8 1/2".
