Fine Miniature Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1835, diminutive ovoid jug with tooled spout and delicate strap handle, decorated with a brushed floral motif depicting an open-centered blossom emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with faint traces of old silver paint, unrelated to any sort of restoration. H 4 5/8".
