One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JORDAN.," NY State origin, circa 1835, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed design of a flower with spotted interior, emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Spout chips. Flakes to underside. Crazing to right side of jug's front, extending onto reverse. Light surface wear to front. Some staining. H 12".
