One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Coggled Leaf Motif, Stamped "RUM," attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a coggled and cobalt-highlighted band of leaves below the impressed word, "RUM." Provenance: From a recently-surfaced collection. As-made condition with firing flaws to surface, including a 7/8" surface chip. H11".
