Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Flying Eagle with Banner Decoration, Stamped "WM E. WARNER. / WEST-TROY.," NY State origin, circa 1855, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flying eagle holding a banner in its beak, with heavy spotting throughout. Fry to cobalt. Two small in-the-firing iron pings at base on reverse. H 13".
