Rare Stoneware Presentation Mug with Incised Floral Decoration, attributed to New Ulm, MN, circa 1870-1890, barrel-form mug with footed base and thick handle, featuring incised and cobalt-accented oak leaves flanking the name, "J.P. Anderson / Tracy," underscored by a daisy. Surface covered in a salt glaze over a slip-coated surface. Brushed cobalt stripes to handle. The name, "Tracy," on this mug refers to the city, Tracy, located in Lyon County, Minnesota. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6".
