Rare Stoneware Mug with Incised Floral Decoration, New Ulm, MN origin, circa 1870-1890, barrel-form mug with footed base, featuring an incised and cobalt-highlighted design of a leafy stem bearing daisy blossoms. Brushed cobalt stripes to handle. Surface coated in a whitish slip under a clear salt glaze. A 3/4" chip to interior of rim. H 6 1/4".
