Small-Sized Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, probably W.F. Hahn, Trenton, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a mottled olive-green alkaline glaze with possible iron slip line decoration to the collar and midsection. Five fingerprints visible at base, created when the pitcher was dipped in its glaze. Provenance: A South Carolina private collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 1/4".
