Rare Stoneware South Carolina Dispensary Jug, Marked "SC DISPENSARY," American, late 19th or early 20th century, Bristol-slip-glazed shoulder jug with large cobalt mark featuring a palmetto tree flanked by the initials, "SC," above the word, "DISPENSARY." Provenance: A South Carolina private collection. Heavy chipping to squared edge of shoulder. Base chips. A chip to interior of spout. Some light surface wear. Staining to surface. H 11".
