Two Stoneware Jugs, Stamped "G. HEISER. / BUFFALO.NY," circa 1835-1848, one- and two-gallon examples of ovoid form with similar foliate decorations. One-gallon jug with a 1 1/4" in-the-firing base chip and a minor base chip. Two-gallon jug in very nice condition with minor flaws: a spout chip and minor spout nick, a small in-the-firing ping to interior of spout, small base chips, and some staining to surface. H (of two-gallon jug) 14".
