Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1840, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with wavy trails of yellowish-orange slip. Light edge wear. Minor wear to interior. A thin in-the-firing contact mark near rim. Two in-the-firing flakes (contact marks) to underside. Diam. 7 7/8".
