Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, Philadelphia, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with straight and wavy trails of yellow slip under a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Ex-Harry Hartman. Large reglued sections to one side, with restoration along reglued areas. Some flakes to interior. Some light staining. Small edge chip. A 3" x 3" flake to underside. L 16 3/8" ; W 11 1/4".
