Small-Sized Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with tooling to shoulder and rim, the surface decorated with heavy manganese sponging under a clear lead glaze. Lightly-stamped with John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Desirable size. A 5/8" rim chip, a minor rim nick, and a faint 1" line to interior of rim, not visible on exterior. H 4".
