Small-Sized Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J.A.C," John A. Craven, Randolph County, NC, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with rounded mouth and tooled shoulder, the surface covered in a heavy salt glaze. Impressed "J.A.C" on shoulder. Desirable small size. A horizontal hairline through handle and a tiny chip to handle. A small spout chip and minor spout nick. Very minor base nicks. H 9 3/8".
