Scarce Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Watch Spring Decoration, probably Captain James Morgan, Cheesequake, NJ, circa 1790, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a stylized, slip-trailed design resembling two conjoined watch springs. Desirable size. A few meandering surface cracks to one side. Two conjoined base chips on front, measuring a total of 1 1/2". Two other small base chips. H 9 1/8".
