Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Vine Motif, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a diagonal stenciled design featuring stylized scrolled vining. A 7/8" chip to inner wax sealer rim with traces of old green paint to rim, interior, and underside. H 6 3/8".
