Scarce Stoneware Flask with Incised Floral Decoration, NY State origin, early 19th century, wheel-thrown form with flattened sides, decorated on the front and reverse with an incised and cobalt-highlighted design of a four-petaled flower, each featuring two heart-shaped petals. Brushed cobalt band to spout. Areas of restoration throughout, not affecting decoration. H 6 3/4".
