Two Small-Sized Glazed Redware Jugs, American, 19th century, a cylindrical jug with striking red and pale-greenish lead-glazed surface, Western NY origin, possibly Alvin Wilcox, West Bloomfield, NY; paired with an ovoid jug with sinewave incising and lead-and-manganese glaze. Taller jug in very nice condition with two base chips and some minor spout wear. Smaller jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of smaller jug) 4 3/4".
