Two Stoneware Canning Jars, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, both of tapered form with "wax sealer" rims, one decorated with a stenciled leaf, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO.PA.;" the other stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREESNBORO / PA." with diamond and stylized floral stenciling. James Hamilton jar with light rim wear on reverse, two small base chips (one of which is glazed over), a small chip to interior of rim, and a small chip to inner wax sealer rim. Hamilton & Jones jar with small chips to interior of rim. H (of James Hamilton jar) 8 1/4".
