Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, circa 1875, a four-gallon crock with brushed tulip motif, attributed the S.A. Colvin & Sons, Jane Lew, WV, paired with a canning with "wax sealer" rim, decorated with diagonal scrolled stenciling. Crock with a three cracks from rim on reverse, measuring 7", 4 3/4", and 3". Canning jar with a minor nick to exterior of rim, minor nicks to interior of rim, water glass (?) residue to interior of inner wax sealer rim. H (of canning jar) 6 3/8".
