One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "Wm HASLAGE / & CO. / GROCERS AND / TEA DEALERS / No. 18 Diamond, / PITTS." Freehand stripe decoration below rim and at base. Excellent condition with a 2" Y-shaped surface line to shoulder on right side of jar, not visible on interior.
