One-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1865, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a horizontal tulip motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Maker's mark highlighted in blue paint. Essentially as-made condition with some light fry to cobalt.
