Redware Plate with Three-Color-Slip Tulip Decoration, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, drape-molded plate featuring a large Germanic tulip plant in yellow, orange, and green slip under a clear lead glaze. Heavy chipping to rim. Losses to slip and wear to interior. A thin 4 3/4" crack from rim. Two large flakes to underside. Diam. 11 1/8".
