One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Edgefield District, SC, possibly Edward Stone at the Martintown Road Potteries, circa 1845, ovoid form with tall, flaring collar and footed base, the surface covered in a mottled-brown alkaline glaze. Rim and spout chips. H 10 1/2".
