Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Maysville, KY Advertising, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with "wax sealer" rim, featuring stenciled advertising for "G.A. McCARTHEY / BRO. / MAYSVILLE, / KY." Heavy wear to edge of inner rim for lid. A few minor nicks to interior of rim. An in-the-firing contact mark to right side of jar. H 8".
