One-Gallon Manganese-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Signed "G.N. Fulton," Alleghany County, VA, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with elaborate brushed floral designs in various shades of brown manganese slip above the signature, "G.N. Fulton." Signature underscored by manganese slashes. An in-the-firing contact mark to front. Some wear to manganese. Other minor surface wear. A minor chip to interior of rim.
