Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1835, both of cylindrical form with tooled shoulders and rounded rims; a one-gallon jar with horizontal garland featuring open-centered flowers and leaves, paired with a two-gallon jar with draped garland bearing tulips. One-gallon jar with 10" vertical crack extending from shoulder to base and several small base chips. Two-gallon jar with a spider crack to underside extending onto base area and a dry, vertical drip of glaze extending from shoulder to base.
